ULA is harnessing the potential of space for humanity. We are dreamers inspired by possibilities not yet imagined, believers driven to broaden horizons, and doers combining technology, innovation, expertise, ingenuity and a commitment to the extraordinary.
Our inspiration is the iconic picture “Earthrise”, which shows the Earth rising above the moon, sent to Earth by the astronauts of the Apollo 8 mission on Christmas Eve 1968. They flew into space in order to explore the moon, and discovered the Earth instead. The picture went around the world and became a symbol for spaceship Earth and the vulnerability of our planet. Many people saw the Earth as a fragile sphere shrouded in its atmosphere, traversing the cosmos all alone, and it dawned on them: The unsustainable exploitation and threat to this world’s resources must be stopped. In order to achieve this, humanity needs a more comprehensive under-standing and data connectivity of the Earth.
The latest vehicle on the new road to space. Accessing space in a whole new way, the Dawn Mk-II Aurora is capable of multiple flights per day to 100 km and above. Taking off and landing from standard airports, alongside normal aircraft, this vehicle merges the world of rockets and aviation.

Virgin Orbit is a company within the Virgin Group which plans to provide launch services for small satellites. The company was formed in 2017 to develop the air-launched LauncherOne rocket, launched from Cosmic Girl, which had previously been a project of Virgin Galactic.
SpaceX designs, manufactures and launches advanced rockets and spacecraft. The company was founded in 2002 to revolutionize space technology, with the ultimate goal of enabling people to live on other planets.
The satellites of today are getting smaller, doing more and costing less – and thousands of them need to get on orbit. Small satellites have been promised frequent, reliable and affordable dedicated launch for decades. Rocket Lab is delivering on this with a tailored, responsive launch service operating right now.
